Name: Zeno   Best Guess for Breed: Heeler/terrier mix
Best Guess for Age: 10 months as of March 2025   SEX: Male
Approximate Weight: 30 lbs as of March 2025; he might have a bit more to grow!
Gets Along With: Other dogs! He also lived with a cat in his overnight foster and did well. We haven't seen him with kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!
Currently Living at: DC area foster home.
Zeno is Looking For: This sweet, handsome boy ended up in the shelter through no fault of his own. While he loves his four legged friends that he’s been rooming with, he is really hoping for that one special family to find him and bring him home -- forever. With lots of energy for walks, runs, and hikes, Zeno is also hoping his new family can provide a warm, fuzzy bed, lots of snuggles, and tasty treats to snack on and train with so he can learn the ins and outs of living in the DMV.

What My Foster Says About Me: Zeno is the sweetest boy and will do anything for a treat! He loves humans and dogs! He is good on a leash, and is working on his zig zagging. He is a gentle walker and takes direction corrections with ease. He is very smart and loves all the pets and cuddles! He still has his puppy energy and loves to chase and play ball! Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken. All of our dogs are working on their crate training.
