Are you looking for a young, energetic and super smart female Malinois? Take a look at Zelda! This fun and lively girl came into MAD just a couple of months ago with zero training and, based on her behavior, she likely spent most of her time in a backyard. Now she has blossomed into a much more confident girl who loves to play and train!Zelda has a blast playing with her foster’s dogs – joint tug is one of her favorite games. In the house Zelda wants to be close to her foster mom, and gives her gentle nudges for attention. Her favorite place is in her foster’s lap, curled up and cuddled! This girl learned how to “high five” in less than three minutes, and she now knows sit, stay, down, and kennel. She adores going on walks, and is making ongoing progress on learning to not pull on the leash. She appears to have a good nose as well, with a great interest in tracking the deer in the woods close to her house. Zelda is briefly hesitant when meeting new people – she needs to sniff them for a couple of minutes. Then she loves to give her new friend a “hug” or wrap her front paw around their leg!Cats are not a go for Zelda – she thinks they make great play toys and likes to put them in her mouth – not to hurt, but the cats certainly do not appreciate such attention! And being still very young, she needs supervision around the house or she will self-select her own chew toys, lol, although she has been much better with this lately. Older children should be fine but the quick movements of young children may overly excite her.Zelda is a fun, cuddly, pretty, smart and energetic girl that is sure to bring delight to her lucky owner! All MAD dogs come with a series 3 Fi Collar and a six-month subscription.
