He is a certified Velcro Dane, meaning if you’re his person, you’re his world. He wants to be near you, soaking up your affection, making sure you never feel alone. He is potty and crate trained, though leash manners are a work in progress (he’s learning, promise!). While toys don’t hold much appeal, he occasionally enjoys a little blanket chewing session—an endearing quirk that makes him uniquely him.Vargas has a quiet confidence when it comes to his animal companions. He politely greets the chickens, ignores cats entirely, and has a friendly but measured approach with fellow dogs. Having lived among a large group of Great Danes in his past, he is savoring his newfound independence. He’ll play with others eventually, but only once he’s comfortable—he’s learning to embrace a slower, more peaceful pace.His affection for people knows no bounds, effortlessly warming up to adults with no hesitation. When it comes to kids, older, respectful ones would be his best match, as loud noises and chaos can make him uneasy.
