Hello my name is Vans! I am a Shepherd mix puppy and should grow to be med/large sized.
I was born approximately 12/7/24 and was 23 pounds at 4 months old
I am a very happy go lucky kind of guy who enjoys playing with his foster sisters. As a typical puppy, I’ve loved all the people and dogs that I have met. I am very intelligent as my previous foster parents had me go through a two week puppy training class. My current foster mom is working on my training with me. I am highly treat motivated. I know how to ‘kennel’/’house’, ‘sit’, ‘come’ and ‘leave it’ (mostly, I’m only a puppy after all). I am working on ‘quiet’ as I am very vocal with my communication. I bark to communicate my needs such as food, picking me up, or having to go outside. A home with shared walls is not suggested for my communication style. I am working hard on potty training, and benefit from a consistent schedule. I have a ton of energy and would prefer an owner who loves to play or a playmate to wear me out. One of my current foster parents works from home so I am not currently kenneled much during the day, but I am kenneled all night long and I will let you know when I have to use the bathroom. I have been sleeping steady at night for about 5-7 hours so far. My favorite activities include playing with my foster sisters and small soft squeaky toys, I also love chewing on small bones napping on the couch or dog beds. I cannot wait to find my forever family!
