If youâre looking for a smart, spirited, and endlessly affectionate companion, let us introduce you to Unique â a one-of-a-kind pup with a whole lot of love (and energy!) to give.Unique is still very much a puppy at heart and body. Sheâs playful, goofy, and absolutely adores being around her people. Her previous foster described her as fun-loving, affectionate, and full of personality â a dog who brings joy and laughter into the home. She especially shines with children (did great with 9- and 11-year-olds) and has done well around small dogs too.But like many young shepherd mixes, Unique is still learning how to navigate the world and needs someone who can guide her. She was recently returned from foster after 5 months due to chewing and signs of separation anxiety â things that are common and treatable with time, structure, and consistency. Sheâs working on house-training and is eager to learn and thrives on attention and affection. In the shelter, she settles beautifully when getting love from her volunteers. She is treat-motivated and this will help in her training. She walks well on leash and loves to run and play - she is a puppy after all!Unique will do best with: â¢A patient, experienced adopter or foster who understands working breedsâ¢A home where she wonât be left alone for long hoursâ¢Enrichment, training, and consistent routinesâ¢Lots of playtime and exercise to burn her puppy energySheâs already spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped â all she needs now is a committed, loving home that can help her grow into the amazing dog sheâs meant to be.Are you ready to give Unique the second chance she deserves? She may need a little extra support, but the reward is a loyal, joyful best friend like no other. Unique's adoption fee has been paid for with a donation from a community member
