Best Guess for Age:   7 months as of March 2025            SEX:   Female
 
Estimated Weight :     32 lbs as of 4/7/25; she is still growing.
 
Gets Along With:     Other dogs! We haven't seen Tybee with cats. Although Tybee has not lived with children, she has done well with those kids she has met. Given what we have observed so far, however, we think she would do well in a home with kids. We are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters! 
 
Currently Living at:    DC area foster home.

Tybee is Looking For:   Her forever home! This sweetie is in the tail end of puppyhood and and still has all that puppy love for play and snuggles and more play! She  hasn't seen nearly enough of the world and is eagerly looking forward to having her own humans for romps in the park and all the adventures they can dream up. And dog school so she can show how super smart she is. And then pets and cuddles and belly scritches at the end of a fun day together. And she'll want quality kibble and a cushy dog bed. Most of all, though, she wants to know she's safe and loved for all her days.

Tybee is a total gem with an exceptional temperament. Sweet, gentle, and endlessly friendly, she’s great with adults, kids, and other animals—winning hearts on every walk and park visit.
She’s super smart and obedient, already mastering “sit,” “stay,” “down,” and “drop” for a treat. She’s done very well with housetraining (she rings a bell when she needs to go out!) and does very well in the crate too.
Tybee is playful and energetic during the day, but she’s quiet—rarely barks—and knows how to wind down. At night, she loves to snuggle, and in the mornings? She’ll happily let you sleep in. No early wake-up calls needed.
Whether you’re a family or a solo adopter, Tybee is ready to bring joy and lots of love to your life.
