This sweet little pup is Tucker. He is a Labrador Retriever mix who weighs 30.2 lbs. He is approximately 4 months old. Tucker is a puppy and is still working on house training. He will fuss a little when he is first put in his crate, but once you are out of sight he is ok. He loves to play with his canine foster siblings and toys. He loves car rides and a good bone to chew on. He already knows "sit," but is still learning to keep is paws on the ground. He hasn't been exposed to kids, but he's a giant floppy puppy and will likely do fine. He is described as, friendly, outgoing, playful, and happy. He will likely do well in most environments. His foster mom shared,
"
Tucker is a busy puppy that loves to chew and play with other dogs. He knows sit and is treat motivated. When overly excited - food or new people - can be jumpy and nibble on hands etc... He is making progress on potty training if taken out regularly. He does well in his crate but does cry and bark if I am in sight but once he is put to bed or gone for the day he is quiet. Currently, he can be crated for 6 hours without accident. He is very busy and loves to play. He'd love another well matched dog. He is learning his puppy boundaries and takes correction well from other dogs and myself. He does love to steal toys and can play a bit in your face so another dog would have to be okay with this behavior until he learns. He will need patience and guidance for puppy manners such as nibbling and jumpy as he is likely to be a large dog."
His minimum adoption fee is $350 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents.
He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
