I am a handsome 10-year-old flashy brindle gentleman that is an owner surrender due to my owners moving and unable to take me with them. I am a distinguished member of the rescue's Silver Heart program so be sure to ask about it because there are great perks for my adoptive family, in addition to adopting me! I am described as friendly, calm, and affectionate! It is said that I am content in my own space and unbothered by other dogs, but would do best as an only dog in my new home. I live with a 4-year-old human kid and do well with kids. It was determined I do not like cats so I need a cat free home. I am house trained, crate trained, know basic commands, and at night I sleep on my bed in the living room. When the humans must be away, I am fine being left alone. When outside I have good behavior and do not dig or attempt to jump fences/gates. I do not care to play with toys now that I am older, but I enjoy bones!
