Toby is a wise and wonderful 10-year-old German Shepherd who’s been living in a boarding facility since December 2024. While his loving owner works on securing a stable home, Toby just needs a safe and peaceful place to stay temporarily. Could that be with you?

About Toby:



Sweet & Affectionate: Toby absolutely loves being around people and soaks up all the pets and attention he can get.


Calm & Mellow: He’s unbothered by joggers, bikes, and other dogs—he’s the definition of chill.


Smart & Polite: He knows commands like “sit” and “shake” and takes treats oh-so-gently.


Adventurous Spirit: Whether it’s hiking trails, going for walks, or splashing in the water, Toby is always ready to join in the fun.


Car Companion: He might be a little nervous at first, but once he’s cruising, he loves feeling the wind on his face.



While we’re unsure how he is with cats (his previous owner had them), Toby’s overall demeanor is gentle and respectful.

Sadly, kennel life has been stressful for this sweet senior, and he’s so ready for a calm, cozy environment where he can decompress and feel loved—even if it’s just for a little while.
