Say hello to TJ, a pint-sized charmer with a big heart and a story to tell! This sweet small-breed mix is learning to embrace his new life with wagging enthusiasm. TJ’s a bit shy around new faces—especially men—but give him a little time, and he’ll be cuddling up on your lap like a pro (just ask his foster grandpa!). He’s been practicing his doggy manners with his foster sister, Naali, a German Shepherd mix, and is starting to get the hang of playtime, rolling over with a curious grin. TJ loves chasing his foster cat, Guy, but he’d do best with a playful feline or a cat-free home to avoid any mismatches. Kids? He hasn’t met any yet, but older, gentle ones could be a great fit for a meet-and-greet.
TJ’s working hard on potty training, making strides with peeing outside (complete with cheers and treats!) while wearing a belly band indoors. Pooping is still a work in progress—he needs patience and a warm spot to do his business, as the cold isn’t his favorite. Fully vetted and ready for love, TJ dreams of a patient, loving family who’ll help him build confidence and continue his training. Apply today and see if TJ’s your new best friend!
