Meet Terry, the Siberian Boxer (Siberian husky mixed with a boxer)! This designer breed boy has ice blue eyes and the cutest stump of a tail. Terry is looking to be someone’s adventure buddy – joining them for hikes, runs and potentially even some roadtrips! When not joining in on the fun, Terry’s adopters need to be mindful about him being securely enclosed indoors to keep him safe and sound. Terry has hung out with other dogs and a variety of aged people and enjoyed their company. Any resident dogs are recommended to meet at the Shelter prior to adoption to see how they jive with Terry. Although Terry is six years old, he has a young spirit and is ready to be your sidekick! This dog’s adoption fee is reduced to $70 from May 1st to May 15th as part of “Empty the Shelters”, an adoption event hosted by the Bissell Pet Foundation to help pets across the nation find the loving adoptive homes they deserve.Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
