Sunny Day is a feisty senior Maltese mix who is 5 pounds of personality and attitude! She is approximately 10 years old and was surrendered to MCHS on 2/27/2025 with her longtime pal, Chewy the Pomeranian. These hooligans are very attached to one another so we are really hoping to keep them together. They deserve it. Sunny Day is fully vetted and will be groomed on May 7th. She will also receive a much needed dental on May 16th. Her fee, with Chewy, is $250.

Sunny is the more gregarious of the two. She tends to be the leader and Chewy follows her willingly. She is definitely small but mighty. Together, they are a hoot! They are looking for a somewhat quiet ADULT only home (teens are fine). They are okay with other smaller dogs and cats should not be a problem. Regular grooming will be required.

We are located at 101 22nd St. SE in Austin, right next to the airport. It's exit 180B off of I-90, right off of 218 South.

We do require that potential adopters be at least 21 years old and that any resident dogs be up to date on vaccinations, heartworm testing/preventatives, and spayed or neutered.
