Meet Suni!
Beautiful Suni spent years living in poor conditions behind a church until a caring neighbor called humane enforcement. Her former guardian agreed to surrender her to West Valley LA Shelter where she stayed until becoming a Frosted Face on January 9, 2022. Suni is 11 years old, weighs 80 lbs., and thinks she is a lap dog! Every ounce of her loves people! She also loves playing with toys, being brushed, and having her head scratched.
Suni lives in a Foster home as part of our Molly & Me Project (a program for special dogs who need to be the only pet in the home) and proven what a wonderful, loving companion she is. Suni is ready for her forever home!
Her Foster Mom shares:
“Suni the INCREDIBLE German Shepard loves adventure and is so great around people of all ages and sizes!! She is perfect with strangers and wags her tail at everyone.
Suni has a good appetite and she’s putting on weight since being here! She eats chicken and rice and wet food with kibble mixed in.
Suni gets excited and has high energy when I come home from work. She will illicit play with barks (rarely barks otherwise) and loves to play with toys that have squeakers. She will play fetch a few times in a row. She is also mellow and will nap and hang out often.
Suni is not destructive in the home at all! She has no anxiety and is very smart (she knows basic commands and the words no and leave it). She listens really well and does great with stairs. She is also potty trained
Suni has been enjoying park time, walks around the neighborhood, and other adventures. She is improving in her reactivity to other dogs and even went on a trip to Petco! Suni is still in search of her forever home and is a great companion!”
