Welcome Sport! This 1.5 year old, female Border Collie was found in a bad situation. A Good Samaritan offered to find her a better home and was able to get her to CCHDR.
Her drive, intelligence, athleticism, and work ethic mean that 2 walks a day and an agility class here and there aint going to cut it. Oh and NO cats, we made an executive decision.
Here’s an update from her foster:
“We stopped at the Templeton dog park, where she made the dog owners jealous of her obedience and recall, and the dogs jealous of her energy. Within a few minutes she had the well fed house dogs trying to chase her around. She continues to be all the energy, all the fun, and all the border collie. After a long day being out and about, she likes to lay at my feet when I'm sitting on the sofa or at my desk. In addition to activity, she really thrives on praise, and following the leader of the pack.”
If you think you have what it takes to wear this 1.5 year old, 40lb border collie out and give her the life she needs to be fulfilled, get an application in! She is microchipped, spayed, and UTD on vaccines. She is located in Templeton, CA.
