Animal Profile: Scout is an adorable terrier mix who was rescued from a high kill shelter in Modesto, CA. He is estimated to be around 6 years old ~12lbs.

Foster Update: Meet Scout! He may just be one of the sweetest gentleman you'll ever have the pleasure of meeting. He has a gentle and calm nature to him; greeting you with a soft tail wag. He may even roll over for some belly rubs! Scout does great in his crate, is awesome on leash, and he enjoys the company of other respectful pups. He has shown some interest in making friends with the resident cat, but is learning to give the cat space. Scout co-exists well with other dogs and could enjoy another respectful canine companion, but he could also do well as the only dog, if that means soaking up all the attention from his humans. Scout loves a good lounge moment; a cozy spot to curl up and snooze is a big win for him. We'll continue to post more info as we get to know him!

Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, heartworm test if applicable, microchip with registration, and health certificate. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. All adoption fees go toward the care of all dogs in our rescue.
