Meet Salsa! Salsa is an approximately one-year-old female Chihuahua mix, weighing just under nine-pounds. She was taken in to Chi Town Rescue from a rescue in Mexico when that rescue reached out about over-crowding and shelter maintenance issues. We agreed to take in some adoptable dogs to help out, and will be donating half of the adoption fee back to the Mexico rescue to help with their shelter bills. Salsa had been at the Mexico rescue for about six-months and was originally brought in as a stray. Salsa quickly won us over here at Chi Town Rescue. She is full of happy energy and a social butterfly. Salsa loves to meet new people and new dogs. She loves to run and play and is looking for a family that can keep up with her energy! If you have a dog at home, bring them in for an intro and we can help make sure everyone gets along. Salsa loves to play with toys, chase, and be chased!
