SADIE, a sweet and gentle girl, arrived at the shelter in mid April 2025. She is listed as a mixture of Australian Shepherd and Labrador. She is mostly black with a few white markings. Her age is guesstimated at 8+ years. Best of all, she has already been spayed and that means that she can go home the same day that she is adopted! In addition, her Kennel is exceptionally clean. So, it appears that she was previously house trained. She has now been successfully appeared with another female dog. So, she does get along with at least some other dogs. Still, if you do have another dog, it would be best if you bring that dog with you to meet SADIE so that they can get acquainted in the neutral territory at the shelter. Serious adopters are encouraged to CALL the shelter to schedule an adoption appointment. Staff can explain the adoption procedures and fees when you call. The shelter does require EXACT change in the form of cash or a check. The shelter is UNABLE to accept credit or debit. So, please go prepared! That includes taking a dog collar and leash with you to the appointment in case you do decide to adopt SADIE or one of the other spayed or neutered dogs currently at the shelter. No animal should be allowed to run freely in any vehicle. Especially an animal that you have just adopted! Safety first!
