This big handsome man is Rusty, a 5 year old hound mix. He has a booming voice that carries through the building, and he sure likes to talk!! He is a very well-behaved boy, and walks amazing on a leash. When he is not in his own territory, Rusty is a sweet boy, and all loving. He does great at the vet, and prefers to have no barriers while in the car so he can be close to you. He was surrendered to the shelter due to some behavioral issues- he can be protective and territorial, and has acted out towards delivery drivers and strangers while in his domain. If you're a homebody who prefers alone time, or lives alone and wants someone to alert you when anyone arrives, Rusty is your guy! Those big blood house ears, and his nose can alert you to anything!
If you would like to meet me, please visit our website and complete the pre-adoption application. Once it has been processed then we can make a date to get together!
