Runner is looking for a family with a calm yet active vibe. He needs a yard for play and at least one other well-socialized dog that is neither a senior nor a puppy. He has just recently joined our rescue and is initially very cautious with new people! Runner will flourish with time and patience, and a new doggy friend will be a huge help in getting Runner comfortable in his new surroundings.
Runner is gentle and very sweet, but being fearful can lead to mishaps if doors or gates are left open. For that reason, we seek homes where children, if any, are middle-school aged or older. Runner will be the delight of everyone in his new family! Please consider a shy dog as they blossom to be such special and devoted companions.
Runner will be placed in the Phoenix metro area, for proximity to our rescue (home checks, follow up visits, visit to finalize adoption) and for access to our veterinarian. Our adoptions begin with a Foster-To-Adopt period, which is not feasible with remote placements.
If you believe you're a possible match based on the detailed profile posted on our website, please complete our online adoption application.
Discussion about a dog, including scheduling a home check, can't occur until we have received your complete adoption application. Thank you!
