Meet Roxie!  Roxie is a sweet and affectionate 5-year-old, 10-pound Yorkshire Terrier looking for her forever home. Though unsure about walks at first, she’s grown to love them and enjoys sniffing around at her own pace. She absolutely loves going out on the town—whether it's a trip to the park, brunch, yoga, or running errands, Roxie is happiest when she’s by your side. She’s a social little adventurer who enjoys being part of the action. At home, Roxie adores snuggles, burrowing under blankets, and lounging in a comfy “sploot” pose. She forms strong bonds with her people and experiences some separation anxiety, so she’ll thrive in a home where someone is around most of the time. She’s also great with other dogs and respectful older kids. She recently had bladder stones removed and is recovering well, but will temporarily need more frequent potty breaks and a lifelong special diet (which isn’t costly). Roxie is both pee pad trained and good at signaling when she needs to go out. She’s managing her needs well, just asking for a bit of extra patience as she continues to heal. Roxie is spayed, up to date on her vaccinations, and ready to bring love, joy, and companionship into your life. Her adoption fee is $300.
