Rip is a big, handsome Belgian Malinois who is great with other dogs and friendly with people. Rip is happy and a very loving boy!Rip recently finished a three week board and train, and he absolutely flourished with this training! He already knew the basics. Now he has learned to place, heel, sit and stay not just for the moment, but with duration. He also walks well on the leash, and if he gets a bit enthusiastic, he is very responsive to a light correction. Rip is not destructive in the home - his foster does not crate him at night, and he sleeps on her bed. During the day he has been left uncrated during errands as well. He is comfortable in his sturdy crate during the day while his foster works, and occasionally goes to doggy day care where he does great with other dogs. For play and exercise, Rip loves to play and romp around outside chasing his Chuck-It ball and he always stays close off leash, even though his foster does not have a fence. After the fun, Rip easily chills out - he has great off-switch in the house after exercise. Rip loves hanging out on the couch, and snuggling with his favorite person. He also loves long walks, car rides and meeting new people. Rip will thrive with an owner who can provide him with a fairly active life, a warm couch, and a loving cuddles. Rip is a very special dog - loving, active, socia and friendly - plus a good dose of impressive size and pure muscle. He is the ultimate best friend! All MAD dogs come with a Fi Collar and one-year subscription.
