Meet Freya – Tiny Drama Queen, Full-Time Heart Thief
Looking for a puppy with star power? Meet Freya, a German Shepherd pup who was born to be adored (and she knows it). Born around March 1st, this girl has already perfected the art of dramatic sighs, theatrical whining, and melting hearts with a single look. If things aren’t going her way? Oh, she’ll let you know — in the most pathetic, adorable voice imaginable. Don't worry, it's just part of her current toddler-phase flair!
But don't let the diva act fool you — Freya is also a total goofball. She’s all about tug-of-war matches, playful wrestling with her doggie friends (big and small), and taking very serious naps, sometimes curled up next to a cat buddy like they’ve been besties forever.
Her foster mom, Terry, is gently introducing her to the finer points of being a well-mannered pup: crate time, x-pen life, and potty training (she’s about 80% there, which earns her a gold star in puppy school). She’s smart, eager to please, and just waiting for a forever family to continue her journey.
Freya is believed to be from purebred GSD parents — her dad is a handsome black-and-tan guy, and she’s already starting to follow in his pawsteps (her ears are trying to stand up — stay tuned, it’s a process). We expect her to grow into a 70-pound stunner, full of loyalty, energy, and love.
She’s happiest when she’s getting attention, being told how beautiful and special she is (at least 50 times a day), and being part of the action. If you’ve got love, snacks, and a secure fenced yard for zoomies, Freya might just be your perfect match.
Freya is adoptable now in Tennessee, and for folks in the Northeast, she’ll be ready to travel home at the end of May, thanks to Critter Cavalry Rescue’s transport team.
