Hello folks! My name is Poppy although my friends call me Big Poppa. I am a leggy 6 year old Chihuahua, weighing about 7lbs. I came to Tucson with Vinny and now we are staying with a new family until we each find families of our own. I am kennel trained although I will complain if you leave me in there for too long. I am attached to Vinny but would be ok saying goodbye if my new family had another fun little doggo my size to play with! I prefer to be a bit independent and really don't care for being carried around. I like to walk and sniff and adventure next to my person instead! I haven't been around kiddos before now and I think they are fun! The older kids in my foster home are very nice and give me treats a lot. I think I'd like if my new family had an older kid for me to spend time with. There's also cats, big and little dogs in my foster home. I don't really mind spending time with any of them but prefer the medium to small doggos. They are easier to hang out with. I'm super excited to meet my new family! Until then, I'll keep working hard on learning my manners and exploring my foster home.



Poppy is neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. His adoption fee is $275, with an additional $21 for PACC licence. He is adoptable to homes in Tucson, Marana, Oro Valley, Sahuarita and Catalina only.
