Animal Profile: Pedro is an estimated 9-month-old 65lb mixed breed -- possibly Doberman with Shepherd -- who was found in San Bernardino county as a stray with no collar and no chip. He was very emaciated and with the city shelter at 4x capacity stray hold was completed while he Pedro stayed with the finder. He has done well with her dogs and kids, but still needs to gain weight. He's joining Dog Gone Seattle and we will share more info as we get to know him in foster care!
Foster Update: Pedro is one awesome dude! He is absolutely thriving in foster care since he arrived in late September. He is so smart and eager to please. He loves playing with the resident dogs in his foster home, and has picked up the daily routine very easily. Pedro is well trained with his basic manners (sit, down, and leash walking) and charms everyone he meets on walks and outings! He sleeps soundly in his crate through the night and is potty trained.. Pedro does great in the car, and loves adventuring at the beach, going for hikes, and long walks. We think he is going to make an excellent companion for one lucky family.
