Meet Patton! 
 
Patton is an 18-month-old Belgian Malinois who is extremely smart and well-trained. How this very handsome dog ended up in the shelter is a mystery to all who meet him.  He’s a quick learner and thrives in training.  He has gotten glowing reviews from our trainer who has been working with him since he came to the shelter two months ago.  
This energetic and confident boy loves people of all ages and enjoys car rides, making him a great companion for active families or individuals.
Patton has an alpha personality, so he’ll do best in a home with a submissive dog or as an only dog.  He’s potty and kennel trained. 
He has mastered all basic commands , and we will provide a free “getting to know you session” with our trainer for his new family.  
Patton will need a home with a secure yard and a wooden fence, as he loves to be active and explore.
Because of his energy and big personality, he would be best suited to someone who is familiar with the breed.
