Oscar is a charming corgi mix with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He’s an older pup with a young soul—he loves going on walks, playing with toys, and spending quality time with his people. Whether it’s sniffing around the neighborhood or squeaking his favorite toy, Oscar is always up for a little fun.
Oscar can be a bit particular about body handling, but once he knows and trusts you, he’s all in for snuggles and affection. He’s done well meeting feline friends and showed great manners during his cat introduction.
Oscar prefers to be the star of the show, so a home where he can be the only dog would be best. He can be selective about canine companions, and while he doesn't seem to mind calm encounters, he really thrives with his humans. Because of his sensitivity, older, respectful kids (like teenagers) would be the best fit for his new family. If you're looking for a loyal buddy who’s playful, smart, and just the right mix of independent and affectionate, Oscar is your guy!
Oscar's adoption fee is $250 and includes his neuter, microchip, current vaccines and preventatives plus a current heartworm test. Oscar is seeking an indoor only home, if you would like to meet him please submit an adoption application through our website, Adopthope.org. Last Hope requires that adopters have a history of having kept any other animals in their care as indoor pets only, altered and kept current on all annual vaccines and vet care. Our adoption process includes a vet history check and a home visit.
