Everyone meet our special new boy Om, formerly King Obie! This adorable bully has spent the last 18 months of his life at the shelter due to no fault of his own. He was a cruelty case on a custody hold and had to stay there until the court case was over.
We met him several times over the last almost two years that we went to that shelter. He was always greeting us with a tail wag and despite the stress of being kenneled so much, he kept a cool and calm disposition. When we
got word, he could finally go to rescue, so we started looking for a spot for him in our rescue. It takes a village!
We want to give a HUGE thank you to his temporary fosters Rachel and her partner who jumped right in to take him and let him decompress in a home. He's come so far and has proven to be a stellar dog.
We also want to thank his BR fosters, Mark and Petra, who have the sweet boy now and will continue to foster him until his forever home comes along! Last but not least, the phenomenal staff at the shelter he spent 18 months at that gave him so much extra TCL and loved him so very much. Playtime in the yard, kiddie pool time, and extra snacks helped his stay feel a bit less rough.
Om will be available for adoption soon, and we know this gentle and kind boy will make someone very happy!
