Hi, I’m Nefertari—but you can call me Nefi! I’m a 9-month-old cattle dog mix with a heart as big as my ears. Life didn’t start out easy for me—I ended up on the shelter’s euthanasia list simply because they were too full. But I got a second chance, and now I’m ready to find my forever home!
I currently weigh about 20 lbs, and I might grow to around 30 lbs once I’m full grown and at a healthy weight. I’d do best in a home with older or calm kids who understand when a dog needs a little space. I'm sweet, sensitive, and still learning that the world is a safe place—gentle patience goes a long way with me!
I’m a sweet, snuggly girl who loves curling up next to my person on the couch. I can be shy when we first meet, but once I know you’re safe, I’m all about cuddles and affection. I’m super smart, too! I already know how to sit, shake, and touch, and I’m picking up on leash manners like a pro. I'm also doing great with my potty and kennel training.
Food is my favorite thing ever, which makes training extra fun. I’d love a home that will keep helping me build my confidence—having a confident dog buddy would be awesome, but it’s not required. Mostly, I just need someone patient, kind, and ready for a loyal, loving sidekick.
If you’ve got a spot on your couch (and in your heart), I’d love fill it! Apply today at https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication
