A HAPPY YOUNG GIRL:  Approx. 2 years old / Approx. 31 lbs.

Hi there!  My name’s Muriel!  I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control, and I knew it was my lucky day when I was greeted by the nice volunteers who have been caring for me ever since.  I’m looking forward to finding my new family – hopefully, very soon!

• OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I met some dogs recently at Mostly Mutts and I enjoyed playing with them, so if you have a nice doggie at home that may like a playmate, let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over.

• PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: The volunteers describe me as a ‘very sweet girl’ and ‘pure joy on four legs’ with a fun and happy demeanor.  I was a bit nervous in my kennel when I first arrived, but my curious and friendly nature could not be contained once I started experiencing all the love and attention here. I’m a social, people dog who is sure to bring a smile to your face with my friskiness and full-body wiggles of joy! / My energy level is 4-6. 

• SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I’m a student in the Mostly Mutts University training program, where I am learning lots of great commands with my trainer.  So far, I’ve learned the ‘sit’, ‘down’, ‘stay’, ‘leave it’, ‘drop it’ and ‘come’ commands.  I’m working on my leash manners and on curbing my jumpiness when I greet people, and I bet you can teach me even more! / My crate manners are good at Mostly Mutts. / I've been having accidents on the shelter schedule, so please continue to be consistent with me on a good schedule, so I can master my potty skills.

• LIKES/DISLIKES:  I absolutely love attention from the volunteers, and I can be a tripping hazard, just because I want to be so close to you.  I like having toys around for great play sessions, and I love food and tend to eat too fast so I’m using a slow feeder at mealtimes to avoid an upset tummy. A volunteer took me to a creek recently, and I’m happy to report that I’m a water pup!  Lying in the creek to cool off was the highlight of my day.  / I can’t think of any dislikes, though I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training.

• MEDICAL:  I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed.
