Located in CAWelcome to the pack, Mr. Jack!!Jack the Mal was a stray dog roaming the streets in California. One day an animal control officer swept Jack up and Jack did not have it. In the shelter he had a horrible time jumping and spinning from stress. It seemed no one cared for him, and he was confined in a kennel for 27 days. Jack was going to be PTS any moment. But, yesterday he was taken home to his temp foster Erika Peterson and he is doing great! Shelter volunteer (and MAD volunteer) Erika Peterson had faith in Jack from the beginning. She worked with him at Jack’s pace and Jack slowly started to show a whole different dog. He is not reactive or aggressive to dogs, is calm, mellow and quiet. He does not show an interest in a squeaky toy or tug toy yet, but loves treats and takes them gently. He is affectionate and sweet and will allow you to pet him all over and will seek more pets. He also does great in his crate and during his bath! We cannot wait to see how this lovely boy is going to blossom! We will keep you posted!— with Vee Jenkins and Erica Hyre.#MadLoveJackInterested in adopting Jack?
