My name is Mouse (yes, I was the runt!). I am a female possible hound/shepherd mix, am 12 weeks old and currently weigh 8lbs. I expect to be a small to medium sized dog. My mom weighs 25lbs. Since I am just a puppy, I am still learning basic things like walking on a leash and not having accidents inside BUT I am a pro at using the puppy pads and will definitely go potty outside if taken out every 2-3 hours. My foster mom says we haven’t started crate training and I can climb out of the wire pens. I love to run and play with my siblings and get along well with other dogs and cats so having a furever home with another furry friend who wants to play would be ideal. I love all people and kids too. But I take after my momma and really just want to be with you. I am a huge snuggle bunny and would love to snuggle with you in bed at night. I sleep through the night very well - just make sure to take me out to go potty first thing in the morning. I’m used to car rides and am a great car rider. I need lots of time and space every day to run around and get plenty of exercise. I love chewy bones and soft squeaky toys - but whether that’s because I love them or just want to steal them from my mom or siblings for fun is still up for discussion. I have been well loved and snuggled and I know my foster mom will miss my cute face and incredibly sweet personality but I am ready to be part of an active, loving family.
Like all puppies she will need someone present to take her out every two to three hours while house training and to continue her socialization with other people and dogs. We believe she would do best in a home that has a fenced in yard for her to run and play in. If you live in the Central Florida (Orlando) area and think you have the perfect forever home for Mouse, please fill out our application. We'd love to know more about you, and we'll see if you are her perfect match.
