This beauty is a boxer/lab mix, with high energy exercise needs that her current family feels needs more than they can give her. She is looking for a home where she can be given opportunities to play hard, and then settle down with some great training efforts from her people. She is NOT at the shelter, but is hoping to be adopted directly from the family's home to yours. (A spay is scheduled for her at the end of April.) Here is what her family has to say:
"She will chase cats and other dogs. But has never hurt one. She really wants to run and play and have a very active lifestyle. She’s got energy for days! And has a decent recall. Also toys are LIFE to her. She has not been good with our chickens and goats, and is mouthy and jumpy with children."
At just around a year old, this girl needs what so many other dogs her age need: training! Are you interested in helping her achieve her life goal of a forever home? Apply to adopt, and we will forward applications to her family for consideration.
"My Home to Yours"
We have had numerous requests from citizens in our county to help them rehome their pets, but they are willing to keep them in the home until it happens, rather than bring them to the overflowing shelter at Campbell County Animal Control near Yellow Branch. We are listing those cats and dogs on our website as "My Home to Yours." We ask that interested adopters fill out the FOAC application, and we will pass it along to the family wanting to rehome. We cannot guarantee health, temperament, or behavior for these pets, as we have not met them. However, we are happy to act as a resource for issues that may arise. **For pets not spayed or neutered, we are happy to help set that up!
