Our sweet girl, Millie was relinquished into our care due to her owner's declining health and it being more difficult to continue proper care for her. Millie has previously lived with a cat - her previous family said she did well with the cat in the home. She is currently spending time in one of our foster homes - this is a great opportunity where we are able to learn more about Millie.
Her current foster mom says Millie does great with her dog - Millie seems to enjoy having another dog of alike mannerisms as Millie is still quite young and playful. We think she would thrive in a home with another dog to bond with. Millie has been doing well with her foster's indoor/outdoors cats as well. She enjoys sleeping in bed and is a great sleeper at night - she has always had her person/people or another dog around (at her foster's home), so she is definitely used to having company. Her previous owner's did mention they would only kennel Millie when they were not at home. Being a young gal, with the very familiar Beagle nose - Millie would do best in a home with a fenced-in yard. She loves exploring outside in her yard and with a fenced-in area, this would continue to allow her the ability to explore in a safe manner in case her nose gets ahead of her too far! Millie is such a sweet, well socialized girl. We know the next best, forever home is just waiting for her! She is all up-to-date on her vaccinations, was previously spayed, and has been started on monthly flea/tick & Heartworm preventatives. She is more than ready to find her perfect forever home - one to call her own for the many years to come!If you're interested in adopting Millie, please complete an online adoption application found on our website at www.wesavepets.com. Once the application has been received, a Safe Haven volunteer will be in contact to discuss the next steps.
