This dog will be at Palo Alto Pet Food Express on Saturday, May 3rd from 12-3pm or until adopted. If you would like the first opportunity to adopt, please fill out an application to be considered.

Mila is a 4 year old, 11-pound Dachshund-Chihuahua mix with a heart as big as her love for cuddles! If you’re looking for a calm, affectionate companion who will always be by your side, Mila is the perfect match. She’s a Velcro dog through and through—whether she’s burrowing under the blankets at bedtime, lounging under your desk while you work, or curling up for an evening of TV, she just wants to be near her person.
Mila’s Daily Life & Personality
Mila starts her day with a gentle morning routine, going outside for a sniff session while you sip your coffee. She enjoys these peaceful moments but is not an overly active dog—she prefers short walks in nice weather and then is happy to relax for the rest of the day. During work hours, Mila naps under the desk, occasionally stepping outside for a potty break. She doesn’t engage much with other dogs but coexists politely with them.
In the evening, Mila has a silly side! She gets zoomies, spins in happy circles when you call her playfully, and loves tossing around her Lambchop plush toy. It’s one of the rare times she really gets excited, and it’s adorable to watch!
