Bio: Melody is one of the beautiful chihuahuas that came to us from an awful hoarding situation in Texas. She was found abandoned in a home with more than 70 other dogs that actually caught fire mid rescue. She has had minimal human interactions and probably still worries about whether she will have daily meals. Fear not sweetheart, we got you! 

This petite girl is an absolutely doll, hidden in a scared little dog. She is slowly warming up day by day and will be able to begin learning that people are safe and want to love her. We have begun potty training and she is starting to learn that outside is the place to go, even though that means being on a big scary leash. 

Melody's ideal home is somewhere she can be herself and be given the time she needs to get comfortable.  Someone that's willing to carefully push her to come out of her shell, but also be understanding of her past and knowing that it will take time.
