Max Mutters is a happy, handsome boy looking for his forever home. Max is a playful pooch who loves toys, especially toys that crinkle and the little Kong balls. He loves fetch but is known to turn it into keep away. Max is good with other dogs, especially with the ladies. Max is shy with strangers but warms up quickly and loves so much once he learns to trust. Max will diligently protect his yard from birds and may not be the best fit in a home with feathered pets. Max can be a picky eater who will try to talk you into a cheeseburger but will settle for dry kibble. Max loves car rides and the pet store but despises bath time and will need a very patient groomer. Max likes to cuddle on his own terms and will come to you instead of being picked up. Max Mutters got his nickname from his voice which he loves to use when playing or when demanding more attention if you try to stop giving pets before he is done. If you would like to meet him, please come to the shelter location anytime during business hours, no appointment needed.
