She is a lover and will ask for a belly rub before she will eat. Even when she was starving! She does great on and off leash, and loves to be around other dogs. While taking shelter under the church building Martha had a litter of 5 adorable puppies. Even when she was caring for her young puppies she was so sweet to everyone who came to care for her and her puppies. There is a sense of gratitude from this beautiful soul. The puppies have been placed with a rescue and are currently being fostered. 2 of her puppies have even found forever homes! It hasn’t been so easy for momma Martha though. After gaining weight back and recovering from being a nursing mom she has recently been spayed, and is up to date on all shots including rabies. She is estimated to be close to 2 years old. Martha and her sister Mary are being fostered on a farm locally but have not had anyone interested in giving them a permanent home. They’re learning all about farm life but would love to be somebody’s special one on a farm or in the city! Our area has been inundated with dumped dogs.
