Please be sure to read Marcy's biography below to learn what she needs in a home placement and how to apply.
Name: MarcyAge: DOB: 01/20/2024Sex: female, spayedBreed: Schnoodle. Schnauzer & Poodle mixWeight: 14 lbsHousebroken: Almost. Doing well in foster care. Sleeps well in a crate at night.Kids: 7 and olderOther dogs: yes, very friendlyCats: cat safe, but if your cat runs, she will chase.Housing: she needs housing with backyard space. Not suited for apartment or condo living.Personality: she is a darling dog, very sweet and very loving. She loves her person. Ellie has a very happy-go-lucky personality. Will bond very easily with her new owner. What we know: Her prior owners abandoned her in the yard when they moved. There were three female schnauzers that were taken in. Marcy can be placed in a home that already has another dog for her to bond with, or she can go with her sister Ellie. They are almost identical. She has good play manners with other dogs and loves a good walk. Here's the thing; even though Marcy is a year and a half, she has the mentality of a 6 month old puppy. So you are getting a puppy here with lots of energy, not much training. She needs more work with housebreaking and needs to be monitored throughout the day. So, if you are a full time working person, this is not the dog for you. If you work from home 5 days a week, 8 hours a day, and you don't have much time to spend with her throughout your day, then this is not the dog for you. Marcy needs someone to commit to her for the first couple of months, so she can learn your household routine, become completely housebroken, and begin to settle in. She is very smart.Medical: healthy, vaccinated, spayed, groomed, & microchipped. How to apply: Visit OUR website at AnimalsRule.org and fill out our online application of interest.
