Meet Maggie! This reserved girl came to WAG in a litter of six in December 2023. After several months at our Halfway Home Ranch, we thought we'd found Maggie's forever home. Unfortunately, that was not the case and she came back to us in October 2024.
In the time that Maggie has been back, we see that she really needs reassurance from a similarly sized confident dog to thrive. Maggie did not have human interaction for the first couple of months of her life, so it takes a long time to build that trust with people in her life. This trust is built more quickly when she sees another dog's reactions. Despite being so timid, we are seeing Maggie's personality blossom. She enjoys walks in WAG's garden, playing with toys, and puzzles to mentally stimulate her.
Maggie's ideal home will have a securely fenced yard, no children, someone that has the time and patience to build her trust, and a medium sized confident dog that she can take cues from. Could you be this home?

Most of our dogs require a fully fenced yard, this does depend on the individual dogs needs and safety requirements.
