Maeve is a 2 year old lab mix with a heart of gold. She is so sweet and one of the calmest dogs I’ve ever come across. She fits in well in any situation we’ve encountered. She loves her foster home which includes two children (10,16), two dogs, and a bird. She came into the rescue with a litter of eleven 2-week-old puppies and has since been fixed. She was the best mama and would be the best addition to any home. Maeve is not kennel trained and does not like being in a kennel. We have found that she does well in the house while we are out. She is not destructive, she does not have accidents, and basically just sleeps on the couch. She does well on a leash and a tie-out and would also do well with a fenced in yard, but it’s not required for her. Maeve loves a good nap and scratches behind the ears. She loves to play with our 11 month old dog Oakley. She is truly an amazing dog and would be so great in any home. I think she would be happiest in a home with other dog companions. Unfortunately, she also tested positive for heartworm and is currently receiving treatment for that.   Maeve is an incredible dog in search of a loving home. Are you her person?

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $595.00
