Looking for a dutifully loyal dog? Lydia is your gal. This mature girl was set to be euthanized at another shelter due to a persistent leg injury. The leg had to be amputated but Lydia doesn't seem to realize anything is missing and you barely will either! She is a major fetch enthusiast and often outruns all other dogs to get the ball.
Lydia tends to build strong and incredibly unwavering bonds to those she trusts and would do anything for her people. She is currently paired with our long-term deaf resident Rodeo. These two have been attached at the hip since the day they met, almost as if they understand each other's struggles. Staff often sees Lydia nudging Rodeo in order to wake him up to play!
If this intelligent and active girl sounds like the perfect fit for your lifestyle, call the Ranch to meet her today!

Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog. While they are with us, each and every rescue dog receives the best of care in a loving and nurturing environment. Their routines include daily playgroups or partnering with dog buddies, quality time walking or being groomed, and two meals a day with dog biscuits for dessert.
