Luna is a super energetic 1 year old girl who came into rescue with 4 mixed puppies. Her puppies have been placed with a wonderful rescue and now it's Luna's turn to find her forever home! She is very friendly and sweet despite the neglect and abuse she endured prior to coming  to rescue.  After Luna's puppies were weaned, we noticed an infection that turned out to be pyometra. She had an emergency spay and a benign mouth tumor removed. She is now back to full speed and ready to go!  Luna's ideal match will be someone who has Malinois or working dog experience and the time to unlock her full potential. She enjoys playing ball and chasing just about anything. Luna is a fun dog who, with a little commitment and work, she would do wonderful in nose work, Fast CAT or agility. Currently, we are working on impulse control and obedience. Luna's off the wall prey drive prohibits her from being placed in a home with cats or small animals. Babies and small children are also not in Luna's future due to her extreme prey drive. Luna is both crate and house trained. Luna is permitted to sleep free in our room at night and doesn't get into anything. A secure fenced yard is required as she will attempt to go under or over while chasing squirrels, rabbits, fox, birds, or cats. Her speed and determination will not end well for the critter she is chasing.  Luna is a big snuggler and loves sharing the couch and the bed with you if allowed. Luna is not an alpha female but would love a young male to play and keep up with her. Most female dogs find her bouncy and too energetic! This girl requires a lot of exercise and mental stimulation.
