A BUNDLE OF ENERGY & LOVE:  1 year old / Approx. 30 lbs.

Hello – I’m Lissie!  Mostly Mutts rescued me from animal control, and I am most grateful to now be on the journey to my new home.  I’m a long-legged beauty who is now ready to find a family to love and be loved by.  Plan to come meet me soon and let’s have an active life together!
  
• OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I recently met dogs at Mostly Mutts, and I was friendly with them. If you have a nice doggie at home already, let’s meet and see if we can be pals. / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over.

• PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  I’m a fun, active girl with lots of young pup energy!  A people dog who has not met a stranger yet, I am happy to see everyone.  I have a playful demeanor but turned on my best manners for my shelter bath and nail trim.  My coat is beautiful, shiny and soft – just right for all the cuddles and love I’m ready to soak up!  I display my puppy antics on my walks, jumping with joy and excitement. The volunteers are working with me on this, so young children should not walk me until I learn my leash manners.  I’d do best in a home where I have lots of room to run off my energy! / My energy level is 6-8, so let’s be active together! 

• SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I’m a student in the Mostly Mutts University training program, where I look forward to learning lots of great commands with my trainer.  So far, I’ve learned the ‘sit’, ‘stay’, ‘come’, ‘drop it’, ‘leave it’ and ‘place’ commands and we’re currently working on my leash manners. / My crate manners are good at Mostly Mutts. / I've been having accidents on the shelter schedule, so please continue to be consistent with me on a good schedule, so I can master my potty skills.

• LIKES/DISLIKES:  I LOVE toys, so I am looking forward to having lots of fun play sessions in my new home. I am happy to spend time with people and am always glad to see the volunteers headed my way.  Recently, I went on a long hike with some volunteers and fellow mutts, and I enjoyed that very much!  I ride well in the car, so let’s go on some adventures together!  In my new home, I will always be sure my new family knows how glad I am to see them! I love running around and playing outside, and even enjoy a bit of bird watching, so let’s do that together! / I can’t think of any dislikes, though I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training.

• MEDICAL:  I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed.
