01/04/25Today was a GOOD day. Big day, lots of smells. We went hiking! Trees, dirt, rocks⦠Icould sniff for HOURS. And I did. My nose was having a party. The best part, though? The running. When my human picks up the pace, I do too. Wego side by side, and I feel like we're racing through the whole world. I especially like tozoom up the hills and race my human friend - so FUN!When I see another dog, I get a bit excited. I'm a big, strong dog, so itâs not alwayseasy to stay calm, but my human did a good job keeping me in check. They know howto handle me. I was always more interested in sniffing around anyway.Squirrels and birds? Whatever. Not my thing. They move too fast. I prefer the slow, steady stuff. Like that rock I sniffedâprobably been there for years, and I got to checkit out. So much history in one sniff.During a water break, I rolled onto my back, and the human gave me a good belly rub.I was in heaven.A good day all around. So many new smells, so many hills to run up, and plenty ofbelly rubs. I donât need much more than that.Three Words to Describe Me are: Strong, Playful, and ChillNotes from My Walker: Lilâ Brent is a sturdy dog - so he can pull hard towards otherdogs he wants to meet, but if you give a quick âThis wayâ or just reverse direction, heâllgo with you and can be distracted in that manner. He mostly just wants to sniff everything He does like to run; he gave me a playful look at the bottom of the hill andwe raced to the top, and he LOVED it - I think he would make a good running partnerand his goofiness starts to show. He gave a few kisses during the water break at thetop, he just takes some time to warm up to. Once you play with him, then heâs chill withyou and comes in for lots of petting.
