Lainy is a delightful puppy who was rescued just in time. She was one of three siblings facing euthanasia. When she first joined us, she was plagued by worms, fleas, and ticks, but we've successfully freed her from these nuisances. Despite her initial shyness, Lainy is naturally curious and incredibly sweet, thriving on affection and attention. Her playful and energetic nature makes her a joy to be around. We estimate her to be about 5 months old and weighing about 20 pounds. Due to her current small size we anticipate that she will stay small to medium sized when full grown. Without seeing a mom or dad, it's always hard to determine a breed. She may have some hound in her, but your breed guess is as good as ours!
Lainy gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes and ages. Although she hasn't been introduced to cats, her friendly disposition suggests she would adjust well. She's excellent with children, possessing a calm demeanor that prevents her from jumping up, making her a great companion for toddlers too. While she is not yet leash-trained or housebroken she has shown herself to be crate-friendly and adapts comfortably to car rides. Currently residing in a roofed outdoor kennel in Texas, Lainy is a charming, adaptable pup ready to bring joy to her forever home.
