Born March 2020Note from his foster mom:Kylo is amazingly gentle for such a giant dog. He is happy to just be with his people, and he loves his people and dog friends. We are shocked and pleased at how easily he has adapted to our home. He even traveled and went with us to family Easter - there was about 15 adults, 3 children, and 6 dogs. He just blended in with the group and there was not a family member that was not amazed at his sweet, gentle, laid back nature. His foster mom has book club at her house and though he may be shy at first but you just have to give him some reassurance then he wants all the loving.Kylo is house trained and for the most part leash trained. He may just get distracted at first. He does fine when you leave the house as well. He was a street dog for all of his life prior to being in our foster home so he does counter surf and will take food if it’s left out. He also learned how to open the back door and let his basset hound sisters out if they ask. He has some street smarts for sure.Dogs? Loves them all. He needs dogs in his forever home! Kids? Fine with Kylo, he’s met toddlers to teens. Cats? Ignores them for the most part. The basset hounds play with them and Kylo tried to join once or twice. If the cat wants to be left alone he respects it. Kylo is a fantastic boy. Let us know if you want him to be a member of your family.Adoption application: https://form.jotform.us/51994996709176For more information, please email us at rescueme@srgdrr.org.
