✦ Kobie the Dobbie ✦Location: Newfoundland, Pennsylvania Message us for possible adoption statesKobie is a stunning Doberman who is looking for his forever family! You may remember him as “Julius” who was a last call save in Houston. He is 2 years old, neutered, and 80 lbs. He is low HW+ and on treatment. We will explain how to continue his treatment to interested adopters. He has some little skin tags around his eyes but they cause him no harm or loss of visibility. Just little bumps.This handsome boy is looking for a special home! He prefers a low key house that doesn’t have too many parties and parades coming through. Kids aren’t for him. He does well with adults who are strong leaders that he can look up to for confidence and guidance. He is a real scared boy and he will freeze and growl in situations like the vets office. He is a medium energy pup and follows his owners lead on if it’s chill or playtime. He really is a fantastic boy! Just likes to go a little slower and steady on most things. Who knows what happened to him in Houston.He does good with large dogs that are happy and playful. Again- ones that give him attitude make him uncomfortable. He does have a huge prey drive so no cats! Kobie is fully house trained. He’s being crate trained in case he needs one for the future but he can be left out in the house and doesn’t destroy anything. He’s good on a leash until he sees a little animal scatter by but it’s not horrible. Hes not reactive to people at all and can pass them by with ease. He’s pretty good in the car and traveling. This guy LOVES to be loved. All about the cuddles. He’s extremely smart and knows his commands. His foster parents have taught him a ton of tricks. He can press a button on the opposite side of the room to let some treats out of his toy. Sometimes he will still use his paws to give you a nudge for attention. Speaking of paws..he does fine with getting his nails done with a dremel!
