Meet Joleen, a beautiful and affectionate yellow Lab/Retriever mix who is ready to share her heart with a family of her own. At 5 years old and around 65 pounds, Joleen is the perfect blend of loving companion and playful best friend. She has a warm, sweet nature and an energetic spirit that shines through when she’s chasing balls, tugging on a rope toy, or soaking up belly rubs—her absolute favorite! Joleen adores being around her people and is happiest when she can be by your side. That said, if you ever have to leave her at home, she’ll simply lie down quietly after a sad little look and wait patiently for your return. She’s not destructive at all and greets you with joy the moment you come back. Her loyalty and calm independence make her a truly special girl. She’s fully housetrained and uses a doggy door with ease, showing just how smart and adaptable she is—she figured it out in a single day! While she’s never been crated, her intelligence and willingness to please suggest she could be easily crate trained if needed. Joleen walks nicely on a leash, loves car rides, and isn’t phased by thunderstorms, making her a great adventure buddy rain or shine. She gets along just fine with the cat in her current home and has shown no signs of aggression toward other dogs. Though she hasn’t had much experience with children, her gentle demeanor suggests she’d enjoy a family who can match her playful energy and offer her plenty of love. Joleen has lived with older adults but would thrive in a home where someone has the time and enthusiasm to take her on walks, play in the yard, and include her in everyday life. With her big heart, loyal nature, and zest for fun, Joleen is ready to bring happiness, laughter, and a whole lot of tail wags to her forever home.
