Meet Jess — A True Survivor with a Heart of Gold!
Jess is a 1-year-old sweetheart who has already overcome more in her young life than most do in a lifetime. Rescued from a difficult situation in Memphis while battling Parvo, Jess arrived terrified — trembling, crying, and seeking constant comfort. Thanks to loving care and patience, she has blossomed into a healthy, happy, and goofy young dog who is ready to find her forever home!
Jess is now fully potty trained and crate trained. She’s working on her basic commands, learning quickly, and adores other dogs — always respectful of their boundaries. Jess would love a doggie sibling who enjoys playtime and doesn't mind the occasional “annoying little sister” moment.
Because of her past trauma, Jess is a sensitive soul who thrives with gentle guidance. She’s still a bit timid and can be easily startled by loud voices or harsh corrections, so she needs a patient, loving home where she can continue building confidence. While she’s not a big adventurer yet due to her fear of the leash, Jess naturally walks in a perfect heel when she does go out.
Jess’s perfect match would be:
A home with a playful, patient doggie sibling
A calm, nurturing environment
Adults or a home with older, dog-savvy kids (no young children, please)
Jess’s story is a beautiful reminder of the resilience and love dogs have to offer. She's ready to bring endless loyalty, cuddles, and joy to the family lucky enough to call her their own.
If you're looking for a devoted best friend and a true heart-healer, Jess is waiting for you!
