Indiana, affectionately known as Indy, is a handsome 1-year-old Foxhound/Cattle Dog mix weighing about 50 pounds. With his boundless energy, loving nature, and playful personality, he’s ready to be your most devoted companion!
What Indy Loves:
Playing tug-of-war and fetch—especially with a tennis ball!
Exploring the yard and running off his energy in a safe space.
Snuggling up with his favorite humans after a fun day of play.
Learning! He’s smart, eager to please, and working hard on his manners.
The Perfect Home for Indy:
Indy thrives in a calm, structured environment where he’s the only pet. He’s incredibly affectionate with people and loves children, though his enthusiasm might be a bit much for very young kids. A home with a securely fenced yard or a rural setting where he has space to run would be ideal.
Special Considerations:
Indy has some anxiety and is reactive toward other dogs, so he’ll need a patient and understanding owner willing to continue his training. His current family has been working with a trainer and is even offering to cover the first couple of months of private training for his new home to help him succeed!
Indy is fully house-trained, crate-trained, neutered, and up-to-date on all vaccinations. He’s an incredibly loyal dog who just needs the right environment to thrive.
Could you be the one to give Indy the safe and loving forever home he deserves? If you’re looking for a devoted companion and are ready to help him become his best self, he’s ready to love you in return!
